About The Artist

Limaris (Lilee) Burgos-Moye is a Puerto Rican self-taught artist from Waterbury, CT. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a minor in Art in 2008. Later, in 2016, she completed her Master of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing at Post University, graduating with honors.

In October 2021, Lilee made a bold move and resigned from her position as the Assistant Director at the university where she worked for several years. She had always felt a calling towards art and photography, but she never thought that she could turn her passion into a full-time career. However, Lilee decided to take a leap of faith and pursue something that gave her purpose and a sense of fulfillment. The decision to become an entrepreneur was not an easy one, but Lilee was determined to make her dreams come true. She believes that with drive, passion, and support, anyone can achieve their goals, no matter how ambitious they may seem. Despite the challenges that come with starting a new business and sustaining it, Lilee is confident that her passion and dedication will help her overcome any obstacle.

Apart from being an artist, Lilee is also an indie designer. She has launched multiple clothing collections with SHEIN for Summer 2021, Spring 2022-2023, and Hispanic Heritage Month. Lilee was also featured in The SHEIN For All Spring 2022 Fashion Show. She creates her artwork based on her emotions and encourages participation and creativity. Her affection for animals, nature, and colors serves as a major inspiration for everything she creates. By making wearable art, she has gained a lot of confidence, and her collaboration with SHEIN has allowed her work to be showcased all over the world. Through her art, Lilee hopes to inspire others to follow their passions and pursue their dreams, just as she did. She is excited to see where this new chapter in her life will take her and is grateful for all the support she has received along the way.
